As part of my Foundations of Civic Media class, we were required to take part in a group mini-studio workshop which consisted of a presentation and a paper on our topic. Our generic question was "How might we make data accessible?"
We identified the problem that there is a lot of data out there on college institutions in the United States but there is not one central database to access this. Through this, we curated the design question: "How might we make educational accessibility aid information accessible and equitable in a country with myriad systemic biases?"
The final paper is linked to the right and below is our final presentation with our full process. These images can be clicked on to become full-size.
